mcTool v1.7 (13/9/2015) - mpfs2m format downloads (Microchip tool)

Mainly to add to Microchip http2/mpfs2, conditional, loop and recursive substitutions (~if...~, ~while...~ and ~...~ in includes).
And to make mpfs upload more safe.
Changes log :
  • Version 1.7 (13/9/2015): Thanks to Abram Dancy for its valuable feedback: output redirection of mctool and mplab integration now works, errors source location syntax is now compatible with mplab, defines are now useable in tokens arguments (~call(MYDEFINE)~).
  • Version 1.4 (9/3/2014): MPFS2m and HTTP2 works now in utf8 (instead of local code page), so mctool now converts text/html files in utf8 before including them in mpfs2m.
    32bits/24bits/16bits/8bits support added for hex compression in mctool (only 24bits was supported before).
  • Version 1.2 (16/2/2014): All content type support for MPFS2m (no more limited to HTTP2.c known formats).
  • Version 1.1 (14/2/2014): First version.

FAQ :
  • Why visual studio 2005 ? : I have a licence for it, and not for newer versions. Express versions are known to have problem with deployment. But it seems that it has changed with visual 2012, a day I will try to upgrade... ;)
  • Why mcTool and what it does ?: Microchip tool: mpfs2m generator. MPFS2m is an extension to Microchip MPFS2 format, for details, see: Microchip forum thread
